Caryl began dancing at the age of three at Emerald Hills Studio of Performing Arts in Hollywood Florida. She danced all through high school and went on to minor in dance at the University of South Florida, specifically in modern dance. She began teaching when she was 15 years old and has been teaching ever since in dance. She also began singing at age four and took private voice lessons with such teachers as Jan Reiff and Richard Crawford in the Hollywood area.

She then went on to get her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from the University of South Florida and trained with Theresa Andrasy. She has performed in Musical Theatre productions such as “The Wiz” (Dorothy), “Charlotte’s Web” (Martha), “Grease” (Rizzo), “Peter Pan” (Peter Pan), “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” (Narrator) and “Cats“. She has also performed in operas such as “Die Fledermaus” (Sally), “La Rondine” (Chorus), “The Magic Flute” (Little Boy), “Romeo and Juliet” (Chorus), and “Macbeth” (Witch). She has also done technical work for shows and was the stage manager for numerous shows throughout her college career. She is also a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild) and has been seen in many TV commercials since she was a child.
