Itty Bitty Tutu's (2 1/2-4)- This class is a combination of ballet, tap and tumbling which introduces children to a few different forms of dance as well as basic motor skills.  This class helps to build a child's enthusiasm for dance and boost their self esteem as well as spark imagination and creativity.

Creative Movement (3-4)- This class is a combination of ballet and tap which introduces children to the two specific art forms alittle more in depth than that of the tiny tutu's class.  We start introducing proper ballet and tap terms that a child will remember for the rest of their lives.  There is more time focused on each individual art form and it helps them to learn how a full dance class is run.  It also helps with their self confidance and motivation.

Pre-Pointe- Pre-Pointe introduces the fundamentals of pointe work and the basics principles involved in going up on pointe.  This also serves as an added ballet class on the more advanced level in which the students work half with and without pointe shoes.

Pointe- Pointe is our most advanced ballet class in which students do all their ballet work on pointe.  Students will be pushed to a professional level in this class.

Beginning Tap-  Tap is a form of dance which uses a metal plate on the ball and heel of the shoe that was developed in the 19th century.  They make a tapping sound on a hard
surface and not only do you become a dancer, you also become a percussive musician.  In this level we teach the student how to hear rhythm as well as musicality and go through the basic fundamentals of tap dance.

Advanced Tap- This is a continuation of Tap II that is at our highest level.  Students will learn very difficult footwork and ayncopated combinations.

Voice-  Our private voice instruction is offered to students at Caryl's Studio from ages 5 and up.  We teach students the classical form of singing in which students the proper voice technique which will prevent them from injuring themselves in the future.  We also teach students to identify music that is written on the staff and help them to read music so they can learn more material at a quicker pace since they can read music.  We try to also incorporate musical theatre styles and pop styles that are more enjoyable for children to sing but at the same time follows all the same rules used in classical singing.

Drama- In drama we study the art of acting. We teach students about improvisation, monologues, stagecraft, stage presence, performance etiquette as well as stage makeup.  We also work toward experimenting with duet and group scenes and learn how every conflict usually has a beginning, middle and end.  We learn what it take to do a character analysis and at the end of the season we showcase what they have studied.
